Beautiful historic hotel in downtown Jim Thorpe. Our room was comfortable. The beds were firm but in a good way. Desk staff was attentive. Very close to all the local attractions. Parking is available and the front desk has cameras to let you know what spots are available. My only disappointment was the tap water. It came out of our faucet brown. This would not be a big deal if bottled water was made available in our room but it was not, even if it was charged to my room. We had to go down to the basement and use a vending machine, which only accepts ones and fives. Since everything closes here so early, good luck getting change. We also wanted to hit the pub but it was closed for a private party.

Easy check in! Beautiful room! Everyone is friendly and very attentive! Owner Luke is awesome! He was always around, answered our questions and gave us a history of the YMCA and Jim Thorpe town. I will certainly come back and stay here! Jim Thorpe is a quaint, friendly town with many wonderful people. I would certainly recommend the YMCA Hotel! Had a wonderful weekend!

My Wife & I stayed at the 44 West Broadway guesthouse many years ago and recently returned to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The guesthouse is so cozy, we love it and i always say the staff and customer service is just as important as the location & accommodations and we cannot say enough about both - Lisa & the rest of the staff went above & beyond for us and made our stay so memorable. We truly appreciate the authentic hospitality and care provided by Lisa and everyone at the Inn at Jim Thrope! We love y'all, we'll be back very soon!

Old historic hotel but perfect location. Definitely has a creepy vibe and is in desperate need of an update and a good deep clean. Beds are screwed into the wall through the headboard and it was overall dusty - the heater had some issues. Also the shower left a lot to be desired. Pros - parking for us but don't leave your spot! There is no guarantee you'll get one once you leave. Within walking distance of everything you need. The check in staff at 4pm were lovely and kind - good check I experience. Cons - bar in the restaurant was open but not nearly big enough to enjoy. Parking is tight especially with suv - woman on day shift was rude to us when we asked questions and received parking permit. 1st floor room no view and tight quarters seems smaller than a queen bed.

Stopped in for breakfast, and it was well worth it. The food was fantastic, the portions were large, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. Old building that exudes history(although I'm not sure if it truly has any). The restaurant is a bit small, and not a ton of seating, but we got there early and were seated right away. Shortly after we sat down, the crowd and the wait times began to get longer, but everything was well handled and there didn't seem to be anyone that was upset during their wait. We will definitely add The Inn at Jim Thorpe as a regular breakfast stop whenever we are in the area.

Our first stay at this beautiful hotel did not dissapoint!! Everyone was so nice and welcoming! They even give you chocolate chip cookies at check in! The rooms were spacious and the bed was super comfy! They supply everything you need in the bathroom(shampoo,body wash,lotion) parking was the only tricky thing but once parked we were able to walk everywhere! Can't wait to go back!!

My ratings are based on the extra lodgings through the Inn NOT the historic Inn itself. *NOTE: Please keep in mind when you are booking that you may not be booking into the actual inn. They may not have room so you'll be bumped into another location nearby. It's best to call the front desk to book in this case. The location around the Inn is hauntingly beautiful -quaint homes and businesses on winding, hilly streets, with a couple famous Victorian-style mansions to visit as well as the mind-blowing Old Jail Museum.

Check in was easy and the hotel it self was nice. But the room was disappointing. My door handle was broken,so i would have to wiggle it to the right position. The tub drain was broken so it always stayed down, so the tub would fill up with water. The walls were so thin that i would hear people talking behind my head. Location was convenient just need to keep up with the rooms.
